This book is intended for students of the Faculty of Dentistry who will study Histology as a guide that must be seen and drawn when studying this topic. This book has been adapted to the 2020 curriculum, which states that histology is part of basic medical science related to anatomy and physiology. Therefore, the material is adapted to their subject. Learning materials are taken from textbooks, special histology picture books, textbooks, and related lecture materials. This topic will discuss the digestive, circulatory, blood, and lymphatic systems. In the digestive system, we will discuss the digestive tract, starting from the oral cavity, salivary glands, esophagus, stomach, duodenum, jejunum and ileum, colon, rectum and anus. Including organs that play a role in digestion, such as the liver, pancreas, and vesica fellea. In distributing food, a circulation and blood system is needed so that the body can absorb food essence. The circulatory system consists of large, medium, and small arteries arterioles and capillaries and returns to the heart through small, medium, and large veins. The lymphatic system plays an important role in forming the body’s immunity. Within this system are various organs whose job is to produce, store, and distribute white blood cells to various parts of the body to fight foreign objects. The organs that play a role are the lymph nodes, spleen, thymus, and palatine tonsils.
